ApplicationArchitect will identify and deliver global services, service interface definitions, common component functionality and all application integrations. The application architect will also present, middle tier and third-party system integration, aligning applications and services to support the business value chain while maximizing scalability and reuse, minimizing complexity and proactively managing total cost of ownership. The Application Architect is engaged throughout the software development lifecycle with majority of focus in the discovery, requirements and design phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degree or relevant education preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of related technology experience in architecting and leading diverse technology platforms including Java/J2EE/ EJB/JCAPS, .Net framework, C#, mySQL, SQL Server and Oracle.
- Minimum 5 years work experience involving technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management.
- Demonstrated analysis and communication skills connecting technology and business problems.
- Deep technical knowledge and broad healthcare industry knowledge that fosters prompt and thorough analysis of requirements and identification of multiple solution options to address the business need.
- Collaborative, diplomatic and articulate demeanor that encourages broad base acceptance and support of solutions which align with strategic technology direction of the company.
- Able to communicate fluently in business terms, architecture terms and technology terms, and traverse seamlessly between each as needs and audience dictate.
- Mentor others to create a best-of-breed workforce and work environment, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
- Keep track of industry vertical trends, technology trends, and the impact of regulatory compliance on architectures.
