Job Responsibilites:
Responsible for billing, follow up and collections for commercial claims on Dental outpatient procedures. Must be willing and able to implement collection policies and procedures, identify denial trends, and stay current on collection topics. Will be primarily responsible for the accurate and timely follow up on claims, appeals, re-submittals, etc with commercial payers, and some self pay accounts
Requirements:
- High school diploma is required 1-2 years of college preferred
- Knowledge of business office procedures and hosptial policies
- 2 years experience collecting on commercial claims
- 2 years experience in ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) billing and collections
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Maintain a positive and courteous attitude
Preferred Skills, Experience, Knowledge:
- Experience with CPSI software
- Experience in dental management processes
- Experience in practice management
