Job Description:
- Ability to read and interpret an EOB
- Ability to differentiate between a Debit and a Credit Verifies that visit information is complete in accordance with established documentation guidelines.
- Verifies the patient demographic information and determines the appropriate insurance carrier to bill based on the information received from the client.
- Enters charges for all visits, reviewing the visit documentation and the encounter to ensure all charges are captured.
- Enters all required modifiers based on CMS coding guidelines
Requirements:
- Good understanding of CPT, HCPCS codes and Modifiers
- Good knowledge of Medical insurance plans
- 2+ years of experience in Cash Posting
