Summary:
Will be collecting from patients on facility (provider) charges. Must have a good foundation in collecting for facility charges. Will be collecting from insurance carriers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must have 2+ years medical collections experience
- Must have 2+ years experience collecting on facilities (hospitals) for items such as room and board, outpatient surgery, supplies, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously without micromanagement
- Must be a problem solver that is willing to find the BEST resolution
- Expected to be ethical in dealing with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- MUST be punctual and dependable
- Must be able to do 127 calls a day
